Well everyone, here is the very first in what will be a long line of fun, one-page scenarios for Call of Cthulhu. We came up with the idea for this one very late at night at NecronomiCon 2017. This will be something of an experiment for Keepers to invent floor plans on the fly, and if you find a way to incorporate Mell Spade’s Language Use (Polish), we’ll give you a cookie. Poor Oflyn Baharad, if only those wily investigators hadn’t stolen that talisman…
Have you run this scenario? If so, let us know how it went in the comments below!
We just finished play of “Fresh Off the Bus.” Since I was expecting 7 players, I offered 3 NPCs as PCs. Turned out to only be 5 players at gametime. No one selected the accountant but did select the maid and courier. I created a blog summary of the nights’ gaming.

For our hotel layout, I envisioned a mid-floor elevator with that collapsible messed door, stairs at the end of the hall to the left, and a fire escape window and exterior ladder to the right. The rooms did not have individual bathrooms; just a common bathroom mid-floor across from the elevator. Things rolled so fast and chaotic that I skipped the beat cop Quinn’s involvement. Nor did I fully involve the desk clerk Brook and his cultist plans. The players themselves added enough to the story. VERY humorous. It was a GM challenge of split-the-party since there was no party. Only individuals with their own agendas. I’m barely an average GM but we (GM and players) pulled it off. Thanks for providing the unique scenario.

Seriously glad you liked it. These scenarios are always a bit of a test for a GM, but it sounds like you did a great job! The hotel layout sounds just right for some serious escapades.
